Our Policy

Maids On Duty values your home and appreciates your business.  For both the protection of our clients and our company please read the following Policies and Terms. Maids On Duty is a professional Residential & Commercial cleaning service that is fully insured and bonded for your protection.
For Residential Cleaning we are equipped with our own cleaning supplies and machines; however you need to provide with some paper towel and trash bags. Our normal working hours are Monday thru Saturdays 8am - 4pm.

Payment for Services
Payment for cleaning services is due in full at time of service.
Maids on duty gladly accepts payment in the following forms:
Credit Cards (Credit Card Payments are processed through PayPal + $3.00 Processing Fee)
If you are making payment by credit card, payment must be made by 9:00 P.M. the day of cleaning.

Late Payment
Payment is due at time of service. $15 charge for payments received more than 1 day after date of service.

We are happy to reschedule your cleaning, however we require a 24-hour rescheduling notice. You can reschedule a cleaning just contact us. There is no charge for rescheduling with 24-hour notice on business days (Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm). However, we charge a $25 fee for rescheduling with less than 24-hour notice. Please note, Monday client must reschedule by close of business on the preceding Thursday. A $25 fee is billed to your next schedule cleaning for a late rescheduling.

If you need to cancel your cleaning service, please provide at least 24 hours notice for all cancelled appointments.  Once we take a reservation, we hold that time slot open for you and turn away other potential customers in order to ensure your time frame.  If you have more than 2 cancellations in 1 month, your time slot will open to other potential clients.

Returned Check Fee
Returned checks are subject to a $30.00 reprocessing fee.

Please Note* If we arrive to clean and there is no payment, we will contact you immediately for a credit card.  If you are not available or do not wish to use a credit card, we will have to reschedule your appointment.

Since cleaning is a very personalized and subjective service, we cannot offer refunds to customers.  However, we want you to be 100% satisfied, that is why we offer a 24 hour guarantee.  If you are dissatisfied with your cleaning service for any reason, please contact us within 24 hours of your cleaning and we will return to re-clean the area/areas you are dissatisfied with at no additional cost to you.

If you or anyone in your family gets a contagious illness, please be considerate of us and cal to reschedule your cleaning after the illness is gone.

Privacy Policy
We do not share the information gathered through our web site or personal information with any other 3rd party.
Extra Services
If you require extra services or additional cleaning on your scheduled regular cleaning day, please contact us 48 hours in advance so we may allow the extra time needed at your home and we can give you a quote for the additional services.

Maids On Duty never requires tipping, but it is a powerful way to say thank you to your service provider.  Remember your appreciation need not be monetary.  A personal not from you expressing your appreciation for their service can mean a great deal.

Cleaning Gift Certificates
You may purchase a house cleaning gift certificate for about any occasion.  Maids On Duty’s Gift Certificates are not redeemable for cash.

Maids On Duty do not climb higher than a 2-step ladder.  Higher items will be dusted with an extension duster.  We will reach all visible places by hand, vacuum or extension duster.  If heavy furniture requires being moved for areas to be cleaned, please see that it is moved prior to our arrival.  Please allow for some dust settlement after we leave, we try to limit the dust in the air, but cannot prevent this entirely.
